Own The Zone Sports Software was developed with both the coach and the player in mind. It works by using an advanced computer algorithm to randomly assign each offensive or defensive play a unique 3-digit code. Players wear a quarterback-style wristband with a key indicating what each code represents. Because each code has been randomly assigned and every time the coach uses our software the numbers/code re-scramble, it is impossible for the opposing team to pick the signs. The software is simple and easy to use — it only takes a few minutes to set up and print the player cards and coaches sheet before each game! Follow the links for a brief demo in offensive and defensive modes.
After the codes have been assigned, the coach can choose a play or pitch from the coaches sheet, the coach then will signal to the player(s) by using one hand to show the number that would correspond to the appropriate play. Once the player has received the number from the coach, they simply check their
player card to translate the code.

We realize that every coach has their own style, so we've have designed the Own The Zone Sports Software to be completely customizable for both offense and defense. As the coach, you will be in control of the signs that go on each card, as well as how many code sequences will represent each of those selections. This innovative approach to signal calling works for both offense (demo) and defense (demo). Since each player card can contain up to 216 unique codes you will never have to worry about running out of sequences.
How To Read The Player Card(s)

The example above shows that the coach had flashed #034 - After the coach has flashed the player the three digit number, the player looks at his/her band and reads the first two numbers horizontally, then the third number is verticle.
NOTE: In order to operate the software, you must have a Windows PC with at least 256 MB RAM and 512 MB of available hard drive space. You also will need to have printing capabilities and a copy of Microsoft Excel installed on the computer.
